Rethinking the Need for a Portfolio
I never planned to build a portfolio, but a push to try new tech led to this site including a “Thoughts” section where I’ll post when there’s something worth sharing.
I always thought a portfolio page wasn’t something I wanted or needed. But about a month ago, I felt an urge to try something new in terms of technology. That’s how this site started taking shape. After roughly two weeks, everything was up and running on my local machine. Some time went by, and I realized I needed a space to write things down - notes, reflections, small updates. That’s when the idea for this “Thoughts” section came to life, inspired by several beautiful portfolio sites I’ve seen. My goal here isn’t to write daily or even weekly. When I have something worth sharing or something I want to remember - it goes here.
In the next post, I’ll share the technologies I used to build this site. Stay tuned.
